I bought this from another online retailer refurbished for $35. I've only had it for about a month now and have no problems with the rice. They come out perfect everytime and has never burnt. I unplug it as soon as it's done cooking. I've even cooked a mix of jasmine and brown rice and it came out great! I love the fact you can steam something at the same time. Having the lid detachable is a great feature that makes it real easy to clean the inner lid.
I love that the bowl is non-stick - makes it so easy to clean.
It's really easy to put the right amount of water - 2 cups of rice? fill to the 2 cup line on the bowl.
The recipe book has some great dishes to make that I never would've thought a rice cooker could do.
